Great clarifications! But unfortunately my main doubt remains. See if you can help me, please! A person who has been living in Italy for more than 2 years but has a source of income only in Brazil through pro labore, as she also owns a company there. She continues to file her DIRPF in Brazil as normal and does not yet declare it in Italy. Can this person be considered to have dual tax residency? Or would she have to make the final exit declaration anyway?

    Good afternoon, Dr. Vinicius
Please can you tell me if a non-resident account can be used to receive credit for the redemption of PGBL and VGBL pension plans? And will taxation be in accordance with Brazilian legislation (progressive or regressive)?
    Thank you.

Wow! I'm glad I've found someone who seems to understand my question and I'd be very grateful for any clarification. I'm not a resident (I think I made that declaration of leaving the country years ago) and I'd like to buy an apartment in Brazil to spend my vacations. I don't have a bank account in Brazil or any kind of income. Nor am I thinking of renting. My only question is how to find out what taxes I will pay for this transfer (from foreign income to non-resident). Thank you very much in advance.

    Good afternoon!

I work in a company where the office is rented.
Today, I learned that 2 of the 5 landlords live abroad.

In the text, I had understood that the person responsible for paying the DARF would be the attorney in Brazil, but reading the questions, in one of them, you state that the payment can be made by the tenant and I was in doubt.

In the case of collecting DARFs and submitting the DIRF, who is responsible? The renting company, an attorney/administrator of the property or the landlords?

In the payments made from January to April/2023, the 15% withholdings were not taken into account. We made the payments in full. In this case, would it be correct for the property's attorney/administrator to pay the tax and submit the DIRF?
