Good afternoon, I really enjoyed the article, but researching the IRS says that citizens lose their tax residency in the following situations, when they submit the Declaration of Final Departure from the Country; or
when staying abroad for more than 12 consecutive months. This goes against what you wrote saying that it is enough to keep the IR declaration up to date and it is not necessary to travel here every year, could you clarify this issue better please. Thank you. -
